These plates are most commonly used for the bonnet of your car when you do not have a place to put a traditional acrylic plate.  We offer two sizes, the standard oblong (20.5" x 4.375") that was used from approximately 1965 to 1972 and a larger type (21" x 5") that was used prior to 1965 which had slightly larger digits.  The standard oblong comes with 3.125" Old Font and the larger plate comes with 3.5" Old Font.  Note not all registrations will fit at this larger size - if this is the case we will scale it down to fit!  We can also make this plate with either white or silver characters.

Please note these plates are not classed as legal by DVLA.

This plate type has a backing sheet that you remove before applying directly to your paintwork.  Note this paintwork must be clean - dust, dirt and wax free.  Do not apply these plates in extremely cold or hot weather.  To remove this plate just heat with a hairdryer, gently peel away and remove any glue traces with a non-abrasive cleaner such as washing up liquid.
